Site controls and passwords
Glub keeps site controls out of normal browsing. Open Window Overview with W, select a tile, and press i.
Site Controls
Section titled “Site Controls”The panel brings together:
- connection and origin information;
- camera, microphone, location, notification, and clipboard-read choices;
- site-data clearing;
- protection exceptions; and
- saved accounts for the selected HTTPS origin.
Use Tab and Shift + Tab to move through its controls. Footer hints update to show the commands available in the current section.
Sensitive permissions default to denied until you explicitly allow them for a site.
Protection
Section titled “Protection”Glub locally filters network requests and cosmetic elements using a pinned filtering engine. You can disable protection for the selected site through Site Controls.
Protection is intended to reduce ads and trackers. Glub does not claim that filtering is undetectable, and a site may behave differently when protection is enabled.
Saved logins
Section titled “Saved logins”The credential vault:
- encrypts saved credentials using Windows secure storage;
- matches credentials to their exact HTTPS origin;
- offers saved-account filling for the current site; and
- can generate a strong password when a compatible password field is selected.
Press Ctrl + Shift + L to fill or cycle an origin-matched saved login.
The Saved logins section of Site Controls opens the password manager for searching or removing accounts.
Preview limitations
Section titled “Preview limitations”Password reveal, export, and cross-device synchronization are intentionally not available in the current preview. Workspaces share the same normal website session; they do not create separate password or cookie identities.
