Downloads

Glub uses two download surfaces:

  • The compact Download Tray reports recent activity without taking over browsing.
  • The full Downloads panel provides search and file actions.

Press D to open or close Downloads.

  1. Press f to focus Find.
  2. Search by filename or website.
  3. Move with j | k.
  4. Press Tab to reach the actions available for that download.

Depending on its state, a download can offer:

  • pause or resume;
  • cancel;
  • open the file;
  • show it in its containing folder; or
  • return to the page that started it.

The footer shows only commands that apply to the current item. Press D or Esc to close the panel.

Completed files use your normal Windows Downloads folder. Removing a download record from Glub does not delete a completed file from disk.

Private browsing keeps download records in its temporary session. Leaving private mode removes those records, but files already saved to the Windows Downloads folder remain on disk.

Browser updates download in the background through the application updater. They do not appear as ordinary website downloads and install after you close Glub.
